The Discordian Group

You are a rough and mighty adventurer.  Some would even say you are a hero!

But you are unproven, you have not tested your skill against the evil that threatens the land.

You seek your chance, your opportunity. 

You have been on the road for day and find yourself in the small village of ‘Byjorn by the Way’.  This village is so small, they have to do to the next village for a black smith.  A small river runs close to the village.

As you make your way to the village center, a small child runs up to you and says, “Are you going to save us?  The elder said today was the day.”

A woman shouts at the young boy, telling him to get back from the stranger.

Next an old man using a staff to walk approaches you.  His skin is so dry and cracked, you can see bloody spot in places.  He stops directly in your path.

“Are you he, the one the elder said would save us?  If you are the one, tell me.”

What do you tell the old man?  Are you the one?  Describe yourself to him.
