A dark and stormy evening

The gun has been fired. It smells of sulphur, blood and death. It has two unfired rounds and 4 spent casings in the cylinder.
You do not find any blood on the ground. No trails leading away. The alleyway is a covered with debris. Cardboard boxes, empty crates, milk carton containers, empty bottles and cans. Everything is wet, at some point during the evening it has rained.
The pain in your head is very intense. It’s making it hard to think. There is a pounding on the inside that is loud enough so that you swear someone is in there trying to get out. As you stand, your head swirls, and the would around you begins to spin.
The contents of your stomach find their way out of you, and onto the ground. You don’t try to stop them. You wretch until you start dry heaving. And then you wretch some more. You fall onto your side and pray for death.
A short time later, you wake up. You’re still in the alley, laying in a pool of vomit. Your head hurts, but not as bad as it did the last time you were awake. This time, you can count to 4 before losing track.
You sit up slowly, taking it easy. The gun is still in your hand. From where you are sitting, you see someone or something laying under some cardboard a few feet away. You crawl over to investigate and find the body of a man. Of course, you do not know him, but he does seem familiar.
The man appears to have been in his mid 20’s. He is wearing jeans, a tee-shirt with a heavy metal band logo on it, Nike’s and has way too many pieces of metal piercing his body. His hair is dirty and unkempt. He has a digital camera on a strap around his wrist. In his pocket you find a steno pad. His clothing is torn, as if large talons or claws had tried to grab him. From what you can tell, the obvious cause of death is 4 large bullet holes, two in the stomach and two in the back. You find a wallet in his front pants pocket.
In the distance, you hear a police siren.
What do you do next?

I will quickly pocket the gun, steno pad, and wallet. I will carefully remove the camera strap from his wrist and put it in my coat pocket.
I will listen again to the sound of the siren, and if I think I have enough time I will cover the man with one or two of the larger pieces of cardboard.
If it seems to close to do that, then I will look for a quick way out of the ally that will not attract a lot of attention. Are there any fire-escapes, windows, or openings other than the locked door?
As I am moving I wil try to wipe away the blood an puke from myself as best as I can.
I need to find a quiet place where I can look over the pictures on the digital camera, and read what ever may be on the steno pad. Perhaps he will have some cash so that I can find a place to get some clean clothes, or cleanup the ones I am wearing. And mabye an ID to tell me who he was.
Before I encounter any police, I would like to try to figure out if I killed this guy or not. And if I did, why?
